Symbol and logo

Stone louvers are a special feature of the architecture of the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum.  The museum symbol was created by extracting the rhythmical pattern of these louvers from the architectural plan.  This structure of simple lines is a very contemporary and open design.  The logo is composed of basic design elements: the symbol, the logotype of the museum name, the symbol color and pattern, and the recommended typeface.  There are seven versions, one basic form and six expanded forms.  They can be used as necessary in different applications.
