Protection Policy
This website is operated in accordance with the Personal Information Management Regulations of the Nagasaki Museum Foundation for the purpose of providing information on services, announcements, etc. to those who use the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum (“the Museum”).
1. Personal Information Protection Policy
The Museum will promote the protection of personal information by establishing the following personal information protection policy, building a system for protecting personal information, and ensuring that all employees are aware of the importance of protecting personal information and are committed to doing so.
2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The personal information entrusted to the Museum by users will be used to contact them or send them materials, and will not be used for any other purposes than those specified by the Museum.
3. Prohibition of Disclosure or Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Museum will properly manage the personal information entrusted by users and will not disclose or provide such information to third parties except in the following cases:
- Where there is user consent
- Where the relevant information is disclosed to a contractor of the Museum to provide the service requested by the user
- Where there is a request based on a local ordinance, etc.
4.Safety Measures for Personal Information
Regarding “2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information,” the Museum takes reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, leakage, misuse, falsification, and destruction of such information. However, please be aware that it is not possible to guarantee absolute security.
5. Identity Verification
If an individual requests the disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of the personal information that he/she has provided, the Museum will respond promptly after taking the necessary steps, such as verifying the individual’s identity, except as required by law.
6. Compliance with Law, Regulations, and Other Rules and Revision of the Policy
The Museum will comply with Japanese laws, regulations, and other rules that apply to the personal information it holds, continually review the policy, and strive to always improve it.
